You can choose between European and American style oboe reeds.
These reeds are made from extremely soft cane, which reduces embouchure fatigue and puts minimal strain on the body, making playing the oboe easy and enjoyable.
The opening at the tip of the oboe reed is specially treated to prevent it from opening too much.
Choose between nylon or silk thread. Silk thread is an additional cost option.
Nylon thread will give the sound a clearer outline.
Silk thread will produce a very soft tone.
The silk thread is high-quality and produced in Kyoto, Japan. It is also the same thread used for kimonos.

The staples used are replica glotin staples. The large inner diameter of the staple allows for smooth airflow, making it easy to play the high notes on the oboe.
